Where are you from?
Taiwan and Florida
How do you spend your time?
Yoga, obsessing over design, learning languages and practicing cultural awareness
What’s your story?
Asian-American black sheep looking for trouble.
What’s your feminist story?
In Asian cultures, women are expected to go to school and try to reach as high of an education as possible. But once you hit 24-25, your education and growth should stop and you should completely focus on creating a family. Here in my 30’s, I’m in no rush to get married or have children and continually looking for ways to become more educated.
What is feminism?
The mission to achieve respect and equality for all women.
What does "Feminist as Fuck" mean?
Demanding equality and respect without having to raise your voice. Knowing that you don’t have to lose your femininity to be a feminist. Being aware and well-informed of issues and looking for ways to change things on the daily level. Knowing that small changes now can make a big impact in the future.
What feminist topics are most important to you?
Intersectional feminism. Its important that we don’t always think of feminism as a male vs female issue. We have to remember the inequality also exists between female vs female, depending on race, creed and religion.
